Dr Anastasia Therianou, MBBS, PhD is a UK qualified Consultant Dermatologist and works at the world-renowned Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London. She has had extensive training at the University of Bologna, a pioneering centre for hair loss and has been trained in the past by world-renowned experts in hair and nail disorders. She also undertook the prestigious skin cancer fellowship training at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, one of the world’s leading centres for skin cancer care. She was awarded a PhD for her thesis on psoriasis and is the Undergraduate lead for year 5 dermatology at Imperial College London.
She is a leading expert in hair loss and she sees patients from all over the world.
Dr Therianou is actively involved with multiple national and international research projects focused on hair loss, acne and psoriasis, with publications in top scientific journals.
She has received several awards and contributes to a range of textbooks with dermatological content.
Besides hair and nail disorders, she also treats all common skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer/lesions, hyperpigmentation and mole checks. Dr Therianou has more than ten years of experience in performing skin surgery and cosmetic procedures.

Dr Gabriela Petrof, MBBS, PhD is a fully qualified Consultant Dermatologist registered with the General Medical Council. She works at Great Ormond Street Hospital, the UK’s widest range of specialist health services for children, with high reputation.
Dr Petrof completed her specialist training at major teaching Dermatology Departments and was awarded a PhD in cell therapies for the genetic condition Epidermolysis Bullosa as part of the Genetic Skin Disease Group, King’s College London. She is a world-leading expert for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare genetic condition.
Dr Petrof consults on all aspects of general dermatology in adults as well as in diagnosis and management of children and babies with skin conditions. She has particular interest in inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, acne, skin infections, psoriasis, birthmarks and genetically inherited skin conditions, but also in mole checks and skin surgery.
Moreover, she is an active member of the Therapy and Guidelines British Association of Dermatology Committee, which is responsible for advising members on aspects of therapeutics and disease management guidelines and produces information leaflets for patients. Dr Gabriela has presented at several National and International conferences and meetings.

Dr Giulia Ruina, MD is a fully qualified Consultant Dermatologist registered with the General Medical Council, holding a CESR in Dermatology awarded in 2025. She completed her specialist training in Dermatology and Venereology at the Polytechnic University of Marche in Italy and has since built an extensive career as a Locum Consultant Dermatologist across several prestigious London NHS Trusts, including Barts Health, Whittington Health and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, where she continues to practice.
Dr Ruina has broad expertise across general dermatology, paediatric clinics, 2-week wait skin cancer pathways, minor surgery, biologics and teledermatology. She has a particular interest in Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), having served as a clinical investigator in multiple AbbVie clinical trials and contributed to several peer-reviewed publications in leading dermatology journals, including Dermatology and the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Ruina has extensive experience in teaching and supervising registrars, junior doctors, GP trainees and medical students, and has actively contributed to MDT meetings, clinical governance and service management. She also holds a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine and is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.

Melpi Baimpou is our Specialist Clinical Nurse, qualified with a Postgraduate degree in Nursing, a BSc in Biochemistry and an MBA in Business Administration.
Melpi is a highly qualified and skilled Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience, covering a variety of Health Care, Dermatology & Medical Aesthetic roles.
She also holds a substantive NHS GPN post In Primary Care. Melpi has attended numerous training courses and is qualified to perform injections and various medical mesotherapy treatments.
She is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and the British Dermatological Nursing Group (BDNG)
