Dr Anastasia Therianou is a leading UK-qualified Consultant Dermatologist ( GMC registration number 7063111) with expertise across the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. She is internationally recognised for her expertise in hair loss and is trusted by patients from across the UK and around the world for the diagnosis and treatment of hair, skin, and nail conditions.
She has trained at some of Europe’s leading dermatology centres, including the University of Bologna, a pioneering institution for hair loss, where she received advanced specialist training from world-renowned experts in hair and nail disorders. She also completed the prestigious Skin Cancer Fellowship at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, one of the world’s foremost centres for skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. She has also worked as a researcher at Tufts University in Boston USA.
Awarded a PhD for her research into psoriasis, Dr Therianou combines academic excellence with extensive clinical experience. She spent several years as a Consultant Dermatologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and continues her academic involvement as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Dermatology at Imperial College London, where she teaches Year 1 and Year 2 medical students.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Therianou is actively involved in national and international research focusing on hair loss, acne, and inflammatory skin diseases. She has published extensively in leading peer-reviewed journals, contributed to dermatology textbooks, and received multiple awards for her academic and clinical work. She is also active member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology ( EADV).
While internationally recognised for her expertise in hair loss, Dr Therianou provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, pigmentation disorders, skin cancer, mole assessment, and nail diseases. With over 15 years of experience in dermatological surgery and aesthetic procedures, she offers personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, combining the latest scientific advances with compassionate care to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr Gabriela Petrof, MBBS, PhD is a leading UK-qualified Consultant Dermatologist, renowned for her expertise in both adult and paediatric dermatology. Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) – Reg. No 6110025- , she is a Consultant Dermatologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, one of the world’s foremost specialist children’s hospitals.
Dr Petrof completed her specialist dermatology training at leading UK teaching hospitals before earning a PhD from King’s College London, where her research focused on innovative cell therapies for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). She is internationally recognised as an expert in EB, a rare inherited skin disorder, and is dedicated to advancing both patient care and clinical research.
Alongside her specialist expertise, Dr Petrof provides comprehensive dermatological care for adults, children, and infants. She manages the full spectrum of skin conditions, with particular expertise in eczema, acne, psoriasis, skin infections, birthmarks, inherited skin disorders, mole assessments, and skin surgery. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate, personalised care tailored to each patient.
Dr Petrof is an active member of the British Association of Dermatologists and British Society for paediatric and adolescent dermatology. Dr Giulia Ruina, MD is a highly experienced Consultant Dermatologist and Clinical Lead for Dermatology at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trusts. She is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)- registration number 7621606 -and is dedicated to providing expert, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
With an international medical background, Dr Ruina trained at the Polytechnic University of Marche in Italy before building her career across several of London’s leading NHS trusts, including Barts Health and Whittington NHS Trusts. She combines extensive clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centred approach, helping both adults and children achieve healthier skin and greater confidence.
Dr Ruina specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin cancer, hair disorders, and paediatric dermatology. She also has extensive experience in minor skin surgery, biologic therapies, and teledermatology.
She has a particular passion for the management of Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) and has been a clinical investigator in multiple international AbbVie clinical trials. Her research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Dermatology and the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (JEADV), reflecting her commitment to advancing dermatological care through research and innovation.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Ruina is actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior doctors, dermatology trainees, and medical students. She has also held leadership roles in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical governance, and service development, ensuring patients benefit from the highest standards of care.
Dr Ruina also holds a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, enabling her to combine medical expertise with a refined understanding of skin health and aesthetics. She is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, allowing her to provide personalised care to patients from a wide range of backgrounds.

Melpi Baimpou is our Specialist Clinical Nurse, qualified with a Postgraduate degree in Nursing, a BSc in Biochemistry and an MBA in Business Administration.
Melpi is a highly qualified and skilled Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience, covering a variety of Health Care, Dermatology & Medical Aesthetic roles.
She also holds a substantive NHS GPN post In Primary Care. Melpi has attended numerous training courses and is qualified to perform injections and various medical mesotherapy treatments.
She is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and the British Dermatological Nursing Group (BDNG)
