Teledermatology
Are you seeking treatment for acne, eczema, psoriasis or other skin concerns but live outside of a city?
You no longer need to travel to London or another big city to see a dermatologist.
With the development of technology, telemedicine has been successfully applied in Dermatology in recent years, with patients seeing impressive results. So what does this mean for you? Well, in short, it means that you can connect with a dermatologist (or various other medical professionals), receive a diagnosis and begin treatment, all through your computer, tablet or phone.
At our practice, we began implementing a special teledermatology program in response to the pandemic in March 2020, to ensure we could continue helping as many people as possible, and since then we have helped several patients all over the world.
And this modern way of offering unprecedented access to services like this is still evolving, with presentations constantly being made at international conferences, such as at the American Academy and the European Academy of Dermatology, on how the operation of this new “tool” at our disposal will evolve.
Dr. Anastasia Therianou has helped patients from America, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Italy, Scotland, Cyprus and many other countries.
