If you are searching for non surgical hair replacement or regrowth, which is best used for treating thinning hair and slowing or stopping the progression of hair loss, then we have good news for you!
Injections could be one of the treatment options for those who have hair loss, providing effective results with high success rate.
With this method, the patient’s own blood cells are used to stimulate hair growth. Blood cells have various growth factors and proteins which accelerate healing. These growth factors have the potential to stimulate tissue regeneration and hair growth.
While this might be a beneficial treatment plan, it is not suitable for every type of hair loss and is best seen on a case-to-case basis. Individuals who have hair thinning, are usually the ideal candidates but not always.
During the appointment, a small sample of blood (less than 20ml) is taken from the patient – as you were having your routine blood testing. The blood sample is placed in a centrifuge and a specific blood component is extracted. Then, it is injected into the areas that have hair loss with a very small needle.
Usually, there is no limitations to return to your activities after the treatment.
It is generally a well-tolerated treatment. Mild pain at the sides of the injections is not uncommon. Also mild swelling or numbness on the scalp might occur. A very rare sideeffect can be getting an infection, but we minimise this risk by using a sterile technique.
It takes around 30-45 minutes and sessions are being performed by our great qualified nurse.
The cost is 250 pounds per session.
