Over the last years, there is an increase in skin cancer incidents all over the world. Today’s Lifestyle, holidays in sunny countries, or hobbies that keep us outdoors increase our exposure to the sun. Mole check is important especially for moly people as early skin cancer can be spotted by Dermatologists.
My interest in skin cancers led me to do a fellowship at the world-renowned St John’s Institute. I currently run a skin cancer screening clinic at Imperial College NHS Trust.
If there is a need for surgery, I offer this service in my clinic as we have a special theatre. I gave emphasis on skin surgery throughout my training and has become one of my passions.

Dr Therianou has undertaken a skin cancer fellowship at John’s Institute of dermatology, an international leader on this field and has been trained in dermoscopy, a method of checking moles, that offers a thorough and extensive screening.

I’m able to give the majority of my patients a clear answer about what their skin lesion is and only when necessary will I recommend removing the skin tag for analysis (testing it under the microscope).
